     The San Francisco VA Health Care System has an immediate opening for a half time GS 13 licensed psychologist in the Caregiver Support Program. The incumbent will participate in the completion of clinical eligibility evaluations (including the portion related to supervision and protection that is related to mental health functioning), to assess whether the patient meets clinical eligibility criteria for enrollment in the program and at what tier level of disability. The incumbent will collaborate with the Caregiver Support Coordinators and team to develop procedures that may improve the administration of the program in the interest of balancing care and treatment in a way that maximizes autonomy and insures support and optimal functional level and adjustment of eligible veterans. The incumbent will also re-evaluate enrollees yearly to assess for changes (up or down) in condition. The provider will conduct this work at SFVA Medical Center and via telework from home. U.S. citizenship and APA accredited doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology and APA accredited internship are required.
