Nonverbal Learning Disability

Learning Objectives

1. Participants will be able to identify specific "red flags" in client's developmental history that may suggest Nonverbal Learning Disability (NLD).

2. Participants will be able to describe certain factors that contribute to an NLD diagnosis, differentiating from other cognitive deficits.

3. Participants will be able to give clients at least three tools so that they can manage their NLD symptoms and be able to identify other recommendations that are usually most helpful.
